Rustic, Thrifted Spring Porch

My spring porch is simple and uses most of the elements I used for a Christmas and winter porch look. Of course my big thrifted screen I painted always looks great on the porch. The trellis was "borrowed" from the yard, I bought two of these at Aldi a few years ago for $10.  95% of the other items on my porch are thrift store finds, that is my style! All the time :)

The bunny and birdhouses were painted, because they were tacky yard sale finds. When you're out thrift shopping look for shapes and not colors, color can always be changed.

Three Spring Mantles

I'm itching for Spring so the spring mantle is up! Here are my last three Spring mantles, maybe you will find some inspiration! They all are mostly thrift store decor! Which is your favorite?

Junk creations

One of the things I love to do is create with junk. I've made lots of different things and you can see most of them here on the blog. It's hard to not just discouraged from creating junk projects though because they do not sell for me locally, they never have.  I am sharing 4 butterflies and dragonflies I made from various pieces of junk and scrap wood, 100% repurposed.

When possible I use screws to attach the junk, other times I have to use a combination of glue and wire.
