Before and After-the 70s

I found this big whatchamacallit at Goodwill and my boys thought I was crazy when I hauled it to the register for $3.99. This is from children who are use to their mother stopping abruptly and throwing curbside finds in the van, lol! First I was thinking two projects, but I knew that little bird cage plant holder had potential.

So I took it all apart and added rustic painted pallet wood for the backing. I removed the lovely flowers and spray painted the frame and the metal piece and distressed it a little.

This was a project for me to sell so I opted for no flowers, bows or embellishments.  It turned out exactly like the image that popped in my head when I spotted it at Goodwill!
